William R. Erickson
Managing Member
Viking Capital LLC
Bill is a successful business executive and entrepreneur, spending
the early part of his career (1976-1994) in executive sales, marketing
and management with two Fortune 500 companies located in Southern
California (Owens/Corning Fiberglas and Raychem Corporation). In
1994, Bill became an equity/managing partner in the acquisition
of Deanco Inc., a top 20 U.S. electronics distribution and contract
manufacturing company. The partners eventually sold and merged the
company with the largest company in that market sector creating
a significant return for shareholders and investors.
In 2001 Bill relocated with his family back to California land co-founded
Craig Capital Corporation, which became a successful boutique real
estate investment banking firm specializing in financing real estate
development, debt and equity placement and structuring joint ventures.
Since 2001, Bill has successfully financed over $650 Million in
residential, master planned, commercial and mixed use development
projects.
In 2005, Bill founded Viking Capital LLC to expand his business
in real estate investment services, debt and equity placement and
real estate development. Many of the same clients that Bill began
working with in Craig Capital have followed Bill in the creation
of Viking Capital LLC.
Bill graduated from Bowling Green University with a B.S. in Journalism,
Public Relations and Marketing. Bill is married with three children.
He is an active member of the Southern California Building Industry
Association, Boy Scouts of America and serves on the Advisory Boards
of Biola University’s Torrey Honors Institute and Eagle Ridge
Camps LLC.
